The Bigs 2 (Playstation 3, 2009)

hey man nice game do you know any games that are on here for xbox 360 and that are cheep? well if you have any just give me a holler.

If you are a fan of arcade-style games, a la the Blitz series, this will fit right in. The Bigs 2 picks up where it's predecessor left off, providing great graphics with a humorous flair to create a very satisfying baseball simulation.

For baseball purists, 2K Sports or MLB: The Show will likely be preferred. However, for those looking for a baseball game with a faster pace, while still maintaining the game's core fundamentals, the Bigs 2 is perfect.

The "Become a Legend," mode is great, wherein you take a super star who is recovering from a serious injury through multiple seasons. This mode allows you to customize a baseball star, from his face to his batting stance. You begin in Mexico, in a rehabilitation league. From there, the campaign takes you through the majors, Japan, and ultimately, to Cooperstown (the baseball hall of fame).

There are other modes, including home run pinball (which is a blast, literally), mini games, and simple exhibitions. All of this makes the Bigs 2 a great package .

This game is a big hit in our house. Everyone loves it especially the Home Run Pinball. It was played for hours. Good price, came quickly and we love it. Thanks!

This is a really bad game. I found very few things about it that i actually enjoyed. The entire experience of baseball was poorly represented from fielding to throwing from pitching to hitting there was no entertainment value the cinematics were pointless and game modes are weak. The only real highlight of this game are its trophies.

Took a while to arrive, however arrived before the expected date which I was really satisfied with. The game was in excellent sealed condition. No outside dents or damage. Came in good packaging.

Just a overall fun game to play. Game play keeps you sucked in for hours on end. Great teams. Pretty realistic to.

This is one the best games I have ever played. Its a very arcade-styled game. Its like the Burnout of the Baseball world. There hits are bigger, the catches are crazier, and the pitches are faster. All in all, one of my favorite games.

I decided to pick this up after having played the original and was looking forward to the improvements that were supposed to have been made. While there were some notable improvements (Season mode, Batter Wheelhouse, etc) I found that the game still lacks gameplay wise in the same areas as the Bigs. Alot of the players' stats are excessively beefed up and it gets annoying when you get are constantly getting robbed of homeruns. Still, it is a fun game and is very fast paced. I did find the online play to be a little difficult to get into; there doesn't ever seem to be alot of players online. You will like this if you like a fast paced baseball game but it will be a little difficult at first if you haven't played the original.

This is a real fun game for the kid in you, if you are familiar with the games like "NFL street" or "NBA street" this is the baseball version... have fun!
