Need for Speed Shift (Playstation 3, 2009)

bought the game for my boyfriend and it's pretty cool! got the new maro in it too that alone pretty much makes the game :) just kidding, but definitely great! totally recommend, the only thing is that the handling is kinda weird? you gotta play it to know what i'm talking about. enjoy!

Need for Speed has the most incredible graphics in this game and the races is dynomite. My son love cars since he was 3 now he is 14 and he thinks that this game is the top of the charts. Now I have to pry his hands of the controller just to have supper. Thanks alot Need for Speed!!

great cars and long tracks.... there are a lot more things you can add to your car. it would be better it was more then one player but its cool to play online with others.

Need for Speed Shift is a glorious return to greatness (and even excellence) for EA's seminal racing franchise. Slightly Mad Studios has delivered a driving experience that, while not completely accurate in terms of its simulation aspects, is practically dead-on in terms of what it's like to race around some of the world's best racing circuits. The career mode could (and should) have been a little better, but the act of driving is basically phenomenal.

Lots of events to partake in, but the career mode won't keep you racing for hundreds of hours like some of the competition. The online is very fun, but minimal in options.

Tried the game as a rental first and immediately was hooked. The driving characteristics do differ from previous NFS games, but after a few races, loved the change. Car customization is huge. you can change paint, body kits, rims, and many engine and suspension mods. Some cars even have the Works package option which turns your ordinary fully modded car into the full blooded racer it wants to be. Only thing NFS needs to do is bring back the good old fashion police chases which this game is missing. Other than that this game is a must buy if you at all like racing games.

Need for speed is the best racing game out there. Right from the title opening to gameplay you are immersed in its spectacular graphics. You are given different options for how much control you want to have over the car. This allows for to set a game play to suit your novice level. There is an online game play where you can compete against other actual people. The different camera views give a much better perspective for what is around you. The surround sound also helps you to be able to hear when you are about to be passed. All in all a great game. If you are looking for a racing game, stop looking. This is the one for you.

love the game my sons will too. wish it was 2 plus players though.I stayed on the game till my ps3 burned out .

My 11 year old son plays this game. He says the cars ride like the wind, turn great, and run fast. It's never boring, you don't know if you will win or lose. It keeps the mind thinking, challenged and focused. Enjoy your play time. Great game.

If you played Pro Street, then you will be very familiar with this game. A big collection of cars to choose from, once you get the money to buy them. Easy to win money and prize money is big for wins, so faster upgrading. Many different tracks and racing types. Game play to me is not the difficult, my 7 year old son has no problem playing this game. A must buy for car/car racing fans. Check it out.

I thought this would be a good game for my husband who loves the Need for Speed Games. As it turned out he loved it. It seems like they continue to improve upon the technology!

i recvd the need for speed shift game for ps3 in like new condition and it works with no problems. plus i recvd fairly quickly after order was placed

Every car customization option that you could ask for. From paint, body kits, rims, engine mods and suspension mods. Some cars also have the Works Package Option that turns your already fully modified care into a Full Blooded race car. What more could you ask for?

The only thing missing is the police chases. You can't have Street Racing without being chased by the police!!

Other than that this game is on the money. If you like racing games you will love this game. You really need to give this game a try to really appreciate what it has to offer you. Once you try it, you will not be able tp put it down.

The game is great. Has some sim type feel to it while keeping the normal nfs edge. No police, a ton of road coarse tracks with a ton of cars. 9/10 .

I have had this game for 24 hours and can't stop playing. This is a must have game if you like to race and trade paint :)

awesome game... the game on PS3 is fast resolutions are incredible it also gives me the rush I feel when I race on the streets... YOU Won't BE Disappointed. I bought the game for my father. HE and older brother love anything to do with cars and they also have all the prior Need for Speeds. They were eager to get the game. Merry Christmas to them.
