Nintendo DS Lite - Rose metallic

I got the Nintendo DS Lite for my daughter's 8th birthday. It seems very sensitive and delicate. It has a lot of no no's thats hard for an 8 year old to understand. Such as don't touch the top screen at all and don't touch the bottom screen to hard. I am thinking this isn't going to last long and it is a very expensive item to me anyway. Some of the games don't run right. Certain parts of the games just freeze up. Maybe a defect in just our game or does it on all of them, I don't really know. The screen is easily scratched, so I would recommend the skins to cover. Not all of them work on this game even if they say they do. Make sure it is made by Nintendo before buying.
It is cute and pink and has lots of good games. But I wish I had looked at maybe some other game systems first. I don't know if there is anything more durable and last longer than 500 charges. I wish I had know it before buying.
Other than that, she loves playing it and the system is still working other than some of the games in parts don't work. So far so good!
If buying this product I would buy it for older kids or adults.

I bought a Nintendo DS Lite a couple weeks ago for my daughter. I told her if she brought home straight A's from school I would buy it. She did so I got it, she loves it. The seller was great,good communication, fast shipping and I think I got a great deal plus four great games. I would recomend it to every one who is thinking about buying one.

the nintendo DS lite came quickly, however was not protected very well in the box. came out working fine anyway.

I have a ds lite and enjoy using the guitar hero and brain age games. I bought this one for my granddaughter because of the color and games included. It was in good condition, just a little dirty. It was also missing the expansion slot on the side, that was not mentioned in the description. It is not a critical piece, unless your getting it for a six year old. I would recommend that you be sure to ask if the item has ALL of the original parts before buying.

The Nintendo DS Lite is a man among boys when it comes down to portable game systems. The touch screen is user friendly. The size of the system makes it great for travel.

I purchased one of these for my hospital stay and enjoyed having it.My 6 year granddaughter loved playing with mine all the time.That was all she talked about to her Mom.She received one for her 7th birthday from me and now we play and 'talk' together when she is here.This is well worth the money.Good for all ages.I am 73 and granddaughter is now 7. Wide verities of games to fit everyone's taste and budget.I say 'go for it"

Be careful about buying DS Lites that do not work, as your children cannot play games on a screen where there are continuous lines running through it.

I was surprised to get the Nintendo DS so soon in the mail. I am very satisfied with the seller of the product and would buy other stuff from the seller.

Listed as new, used a couple times. Definitely used more than 2-3 times. Obvious scratches on the screen and touchpad. It was still an okay deal being used, but I would've looked at used ones more if I knew that was what I was getting.

DS works great haven't had any problems...great communication with ebayer. We bought this ds for my neice as a christmas gift she LOVES IT.

Product would freeze after an hour of game play. I tried several different games in it but the problem persisted. I returned the defective? product and got ONLY got refund of item price and not original or return shipping cost. Item was terrible. I will never buy another nintendo game system used again.

kids love it, play for hours while driving long trips. My girls just love the pink color. I have two and may even get one for me a 36 year old man.

I PURCHASED THE DS LITE PINK FOR MY DAUGHTER. I LIKE THAT IS IS COMPACT AND EASY TO CARRY. IT HAS EASY INSTRUCTIONS TOO FOLLOW.

I love that it does work though the bottom screen is smuged real bad and the part that secures the top is a little broken, and the touch pad is hard to interact with overall it operates okay, and I am still satisfied.

Item is great my younger daughter loves having her own DS and no longer has to share with her older sister. Wow these kids really know how to figure out each move and how it works without instructions! I forgot! They are girls! LOL

I like the ds because it is user friendly for children. This is the 3rd ds we have bought. I don't like the battery issue that I have had with the others. The batteries seem not to hold charge after a period of time and I have had trouble with the chargers, However overall we like it.
