Avatar - The Last Airbender - The Complete Book 3: Fire (DVD, 2008)

If you've never seen this show before and are a SCI-FI/Fantasy fan, or just looking for something cool to watch with your kids, do yourself a favor and watch this show! It's got Lord of the Rings-esque scope & scale, Star Wars-ish philosophy, a Shrek-like sense of humor and pseudo- Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon action.

The depth of the storyline far outweighs anything I've seen from any other cartoon show, and the characters are more 'real' than anything you'll ever see on a so-called 'reality' show. Great plot and character development.

Avatar Season 3 (Book 3) is the final chapter in Ang's struggle to become the Avatar and master all 4 elements to defeat the evil firelord. Well done! Great for Kids or adults with the heart of a kid and likes good stories!

This is a great family/kids series and one that you or your family will thoroughly enjoy! I know my daughter is ecstatic to have all "books" or seasons for this series!

This 3rd book rounds off the series excellently, but still leaves openings for a 4th book (hint, hint, producers/writers!). The Avatar series is awesome in general, exploring matters of friendship and loyalty, even ethics, psychology, and spirituality in clever and humorous ways! I love this series; you will NOT be sorry for owning all 3 books!

We like the Avatar story and it was the last set we needed. We shopped around for this product and this was the most reasonable price and shipping cost.

Already owning the first two seasons, I decided to purchase the third. The show is brilliantly thought out and written. The story line never fails to entertain with great characters and exciting adventures. It's hard to stop watching once you get going. The comedy elements are always good for a quick laugh while the show still manages to teach valuable life lessons. Overall a great series that will quickly become one of your favorites.

My kids LOVE the Avatar series...and I'll have to admit that I like it as well. It is very appealing to the imagination, without any hidden adult themes that many current cartoon stories include. This is a safe and entertaining series that I would recommend to anyone.

Seen it on tv while watching toons with our little one. Got hooked on it and decided to get the dvds because we kept missing episodes. As soon we got the dvds we have been watching them when we have time and must say very well worth it. Love the cartoon and cant wait for the movie to come out. These are a great addition to our dvd collection.

I love the fact that eBay can offer almost anything at a reasonable price, and still satisfy every ones hunger for entertainment. I will personally keep buying items I see that i like on eBay.

for an american made anime it was well put together. Has a great story line and great animation. the only downside to this series is that it was way too short. Three seasons will put this series at one of the smallest for most anime shows. It is still a great show and is worth the time to watch if you are an anime nut, or just interested in cartoons period. It has kid-like themes but still is enjoyable by anyone of the older generation if they don't mind watching a cartoon.

This is the ending book to a feel good and very educational series. Wonderful DVD for children of all ages, definitely this teacher approved. It addresses standards in many grades, social studies especially.

A great show all around. Not just for kids. Great characters and storylines. Animation is great. Wish the story never ended so I can keep watching.

Excellent series. My 2 and 5 y.o. boys love watching it, and my husband and I were hooked after the first volume. In hindsight, I would probably not have introduced my boys to the series until their were a little older (maybe 6 or 7?). We watched 2-3 a day since we were all hooked, but then it programmed our little boys with a fighting mindframe, which is hard to unprogram without letting them pound on daddy for an hour or so.

Each episode has a morale to it and treats women very respectfully. The series has an equal share of ACTIVE male and female heros and villains (as opposed to PASSIVE female leads that read books, lose there voices, and/or just fall in love. That's rare to find these days.
