This game is great. Spider-man of course is my fav. superhero and this game is exactly how it sounds. The moves that spidy does in this game is off the hook...you can swing people into the air and kick them into walls and use your spidy senses. The graphics are okay and the replay rating for this i would say are pretty good. It takes a little while to figure out the swinging for building to building. But all in all this game is a great addition to the PS2 family. It would be great for kids around 13 if you don't mind the violence in it...but if they watch the cartoon then what can you do right? The story line in this game seems a little never ending as you race to see Mary Jane about a quadrillion times. Out of 10 I'd give this game a 7 or 8.

I give this game a 5/5 because it is a pretty fun game for both adults and kids of all ages.On this game you can walk on the streets of new york unlike the first spiderman game.And instead of swinging from webs from the sky it actually swings from buildings.

If you have Played Spider Man - The MOvie...
and liked it... this is the perfect upgrade to that game...
they have the same moves from the last agme and TONNES of new moves..
The Graphics are Better and the missions are alot more user friendly, while holding your interest...
Great Pictures of New York city ...the game creators went out of theor way with this one...
they got a perfect GPS map Of the city...
once again it is the perfect upgarde from the first game

I bought this game for my four year old son and I to play together. I love video games (tomb raider is my favorite) and he has followed my footsteps. The tutorial is great. It's a learn as you go. It get incrementally more difficult. Swinging takes getting used to. My son choses to run because he's always swinging into the buildings. That being said, we are talking about a four year old. I still have some trouble with the swinging too but can correct easy enough. I think it will just take getting more used to the controls. The map is easy enough for my four year old to follow. There are a ton of fighting moves to master even though you don't really have to master them...you can get through alot of enemies by just pressing alot of button combos and not knowing what you're doing (thus my four year old son.) It's as difficult or easy a game as you want it to be. Save a ton of people or only the minimum. It's up to you. This is a very versatile and entertaining game.

i bought this for my daughter and she seems to love it. it has good graphics and fun gameplay. spiderman looks realistic like the movie. his actions such as his web swinging and climbing walls of the city buildings are neat.

This is our second copy. The kids wore the first one out. They enjoyed being able to walk around as well as send out webs to swing wherever they wanted. It was loved by the three year old just as much as the seven year old. Hubby even got into it. I must admit a time or two when all were sleeping I even tried it.
It is much better than the original Spiderman.

Wish that the product had the box, but it's a fun game and highly addictive. Combat could be a little better, but good job nonetheless

The best Spider-Man game I have ever played and I've played most of them since the Atari 2600 version. One of the best games I have ever played to be honest. The controls are easier on the PS2 than the Gamecube. It's worth it just to be able to swing around New York from top to bottom. Don't be tempted to think Spider-Man 3 is more of the same as it's a piece of junk compared to this version.

My son loves the game. He is now at level 15. He plays with the game everyday and I think he will be playing with it until he wins. Spiderman and Superman are two of his favorite superheros.

This game is in "sandbox" mode. You can explore the whole city without doing any of the missions. The plot is accurate. No boredom. Great game.

The game works great. fast shipping. The kids absolutely love this game. it is easy enough that the 5 yr olds can play, but still hard enough that the kids aged 10 still enjoy it.

this is one of my favorite games ever. just the fact that you are spider man in new york city should be enough but no, you get to free roam all you want. there are random crimes and people pleading for help and you can come to the rescue, but only if you want to, you can just ignore them. also, random marvel villains. it's a whole lotta fun. get it. [better than the third game, definitely.]

The graphics are okay but could be improved. Love the free roaming game part. Have played the game only about 5 hours but I enjoyed the game. On a scale of 1 to 10 i'd rate this game a 6.5 or so.
