I decided to purchase these movies because I had already seen them both at the movie theatre when each movie first came out. I'm not a big fan of Rob Zombie's music but I love horror movies. House of 1000 Corpses was unreal and creepy because, when you think about it, it totally freaks your mind and you think "this could really happen". The same goes for Devils Rejects.
If you are a true horror movie fan like I am you go and see any horror movie that comes out hoping that it's going to actually be scary-Most Aren't-both of these movies leave you with that creepy feeling and when you go home from the movie theatre that feeling still lingers. Too many horror movies either aren't scary or they are just all gore with alot of titty shots and you forget what you've just seen as soon as the movie is over. Although I thought 1000 Corpses was better than Rejects they both did very well on the creep effect and afterwards the eery feeling of the movie still remains with you. It's sort of like witnessing an accident that you wished you would'nt have seen but know matter how bad it is you can't keep yourself from looking.
