This game has the best graphics on the nes it is such a colorful game and makes you happy. then mad when you get far and the game gets some what difficult. the beautiful backgrounds may make it to where you can tolerate the difficult game that looks so easy when you watch someone play.

Great Game For Young Kids !!

This game has proven to be great entertainment for my 5yr old son. There is some reading involved in order to get through the game, and since he is just learning to read, we read the captions together. It's a fun game, you feed candy to certain animals and you are able to ride them. Travel with the mole and you're able to explore the underground tunnels. Equally satisfying for parents and children; not a terribly violent game and fun to play.

Little Nemo: Childhood in a cartrage
Review created: 05/10/09

Little Nemo: The Dream Master is another awesome liscenced game by Capcom for the NES. At the time, this was a winning combanation (DuckTales, Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck...). This is of course not an exception.
The game play is fun, mostly since you're a kid running around a fantasy land. You feed candy to animals, then use them (in a very Kirby like fashion) to find keys all around the level and continue on.
This game seems to embody. Once again, you're a kid running around a fantasy dream land. Even with everything trying to kill you, it's still a joy simply to be there. The music supplies a great deal of that; it's fun, light hearted... Another area that might come from are the colors of the games; it has alot of purple and aquamarine neon type colors, which really puts in the atmospher.
The levels can be challenging, since you do need to cover most of the map to find the keys. It's kind of like a puzzle, figuring out the order of things. Once you figure it out, it does become easier, but it can still be challenging.
As most NES games, there is no save feature, but if you lose all your lives, you do have the choice of continuing, which is appreciated.
This game is simply fun. If you enjoy most platformers like Kirby, Mega man or the liscences Capcom NES games mentioned earlier, this game is a must have.

Game came in fast and worked fine. The game needed to be cleaned first but a little rubbing alcohol fixed that problem real quick.

  Little Nemo Arrived

I ordered an old game for the Nintendo Entertainment System. I have been wanting to play it since I saw it as a kid. I received it in a timely manner, and it was packaged well enough to keep it from being scratched. The biggest problem was my old NES no longer plays games.

Little Nemo; For the kid at heart!
Review created: 17/06/09

Little Nemo: The Dream Master, while it seems like a kid's game, isn't exactly like the kid's games you see nowadays. It is a deceptively hard game, but video games just aren't truly video games without a challenge.

As Little Nemo, you enter your own dreams armed simply with candy. You use the candy to feed friendly animals, and they'll offer you a "ride". If you can imagine a Mega Man-esque feature, except you don't need to beat any bosses to gain their powers. Become a frog, a lizard, a gorilla, a mole, and much much more. When it comes to nostalgia, very few games out there make me feel like a kid again. Little Nemo is one of those games. It makes me feel like I'm 7 years old again, on the weekend, no school, no homework. Just me, the NES, and Little Nemo.

Fun gameplay? Check. Amazing soundtrack? Check. A fairy-tale style story that sounds as if it truly came from a 7 year old? Check. This game was made by Capcom, which as you know, was the biggest and BEST 3rd party developer for the NES. I honestly regard Little Nemo: The Dream Master as one of the BEST and most under-rated NES games of all time. So much fun. If you can find a copy, PICK IT UP. There is no other game quite like it. And if you're a nostalgic person like me, you'll be glued to your TV for months to come.

  Great game

I remembered playing this as a kid. I happened to think about it surfing eBay and bought it. It was, and still is, a fun game to play. Sure it may not have cutting edge graphics, compared to today, but it has wonderful backrounds and a memorable music soundtrack. No dislikes other than the Nintendo itself freezing but that had nothing to do with the game.

Little Nemo: So Many Side-scrolling Saturdays...
Review created: 10/10/08

This is one of my favorite games of the Nintendo Era. An excellent example of platforming perfection, Little Nemo: The Dream Master is based off of a comic strip from the beginning of the twentieth century (or more directly from the animated movie based on the comic strip). Quite unlike many games based off of comics today, Little Nemo is difficult as hell and fun (That's right; I went there).

The Game itself is standard side-scrolling fare, though the ability to use animals to jump higher, walk up walls, dig through the ground, and fly helped this game to stand out in the sea of NES platforming games. The level design is varied and interesting without being overly repetitive, and the little single screens of Nemo Waking up at the end of the levels still make me chuckle.

Overall, this is a great classic game worth any gamer's collection. Do yourself a favor and give it a try if you have the chance.

  Nostalgia: Little Nemo
Review created: 02/09/08

I remember staying up late on school nights when my parents let me. I would sit and play Little Nemo: The Dream Master on Nintendo until midnight. Sometimes my parents would even play with me. I bought this game to bring back those memories. It's also a fun game, so I still enjoy playing it to this day.

I'll see you in my dreams.. (nightmares?)
Review created: 19/01/03

Pros:
Great story, massive levels, good graphics for a NES game, good sound fx

Cons:
Some characters hard to see, annoying musical score, slowdowns, DIFFICULT

Follow the plot of the movie bearing the same name, where you play Little Nemo, guiding him through 8 massive worlds on his quest to banish nightmares from dreamland forever. For a very early NES game, there are some pretty amazing graphics hidden inside that little grey cartridge. Detailing is excellent, all the characters look almost exactly as they did in the movie version (save for Nemo's hair being purple in the game and black in the movie, but that makes sense as most of the games backgrounds are black.)The graphics on the worlds are wonderful as well- a litle pixelated but this is very.
