Cannonball by Pat Green (CD, Aug-2006, BNA)

Being one of the lucky few, I received my copy of Cannonball in the mail this past Saturday (9/19).

I know the guy and could never say a mean thing about him, but this album is VERY different from the "classic" Pat (Dancehall Dreamer, Three Days, Live at Billy Bob's, etc.). It's mostly got a pop, upbeat, rock feel to it. There are a few tracks, maybe 4 or 5 at the most, that I really like. Especially track 8, "Finders Keepers," a duet with Miss Sara Evans. GREAT stuff - they harmonize beautifully and the music just rocks!!

His first single, "Feels Just Like It Should," is growing on me each time that I put the CD in, but when I first heard it, I didn't like it at all.

A friend of mine made a good point, though. This "sound" is what makes him more money. And as long as he doesn't get a big head about it all, like several I could name off the top of my head, it's wonderful that he's able to support his family this way. The guy is SUPER talented and all-around great.

I really enjoyed this album. The more I listen to it, the more I love it. I especially love his duet with Sara Evans and Dixie Lullaby. You won't be disappointed if you buy this album.

this is a great cd. it got a lot of great songs on it. like Cannonball and Feels Just Like It Should.
if you like Pat Green msuic I'd recommend it.

Really good songs, and simply well produced. Emphasizes Pat Green's strengths as a singer and performer. A must have if you like Pat Green or want to get to know the modern Texas country-rock sound.

I purchased this item on march 23rd and today's date is April 7th and i havent recived it yet, no e-mails about the item from the sellar say it would be late nothing then when i sent him an e-mail about he said i gave him an attitude becuase why i didnt get my cd, i will never ever purchase fom this sellar and i recomend no else should also, i mean two weeks to mail a cd come on seriously.

the seller did a good job, i got my cd relatively fast and had no complications. i love my cd, it's awesome, it wasn't scratched, just as promised.

the CD was part of a bday gift for my brother, and it got there really quickly, so I was stoked about that. Well done, would def. buy from this seller again.
