Hitman is an Enjoyable Experience

Firstly, I will recommend this game to anyone who enjoys the Hitman series. Secondly, I will say that those of you who don't have patience or who expect to run around and just shoot the holy heck out of everyone, should skip this game. Hitman is about stealth, strategy and making the unnoticeable kill to seal the deal. This game is probably the best out of the entire series. The levels are all very unique and challenging, it'll keep you playing for quite some time. The music is great, the graphics are pretty good - sometimes the character models look a tad cartoony - and the replay value is fairly high. There are several difficulty levels which will test your skills. The difficulty levels vary the number of times you can save during a mission, how smart the AI is, how much help/info you'll receive from HQ, etc. So once you finish, trying the harder difficulty settings will test your abilities. Also, there are so many ways to complete missions, that you'll want to play the game again just to see if you can't find a new way to take out your targets. The game also has a few noticeable differecens like the ability to conceal a weapon. Instead of walking around with your gun waving in the air, you will hide it behind your back - making it easier to approach someone and then pop one in their head. You'll be able to hide in closets, dispose of bodies over ledges and in dumpsters. Also, the greatest difference this game has compared to the others, is the notoriety level. If you complete a mission silently, without being seen or blowing a cover, without making a scene or being violent - basically completing it without anyone knowing - you will keep a low, non-existent notoriety. If you decide to walk around, not disguise yourself, shoot your guns all over, killing whomever, getting police involved - basically just going nuts and violent - then your notoriety level will rise and you will slowly become recognizable. So the game really challenges you to take the stealthy approach, rather than just the easy way out by running in and blasting anything that moves. Overall, it's a challenging game that keeps you playing.
