Gran Turismo 3 A-spec (PlayStation 2, 2001)

This game was not worth the dollar i paid for! The game has outdated graphics and the game engine just absolutely suck all around, I also did not like how it was setup..u had to aquire licenses to get into a bigger race...

This is the best driving game you can buy. Very real like driving and it is hands down the best. GT4 was OK, but GT3 is the best by far! Recommended for anyone who likes driving games as well as upgrades and mods that you can do as well as cheat codes--make cars faster, downforce, etc!!

I love it and still play it even though it is an older game, well worth the money!!

I have all the others GT games they are very realist. You can customize all the cars that you win or bought adding performance parts, wheels, setting the gears and everything.

...being made back in 2001, concepts like managing your rewards, the counting of each passing day, maintenance of vehicles, upgrading parts, and mileage counter enhanced the realism in this game.

Drawbacks included no damage to environment or car (probably asking much for that time frame), no engine failures, lack of good ending for completing the professional racing circuit, and inaccurate total count on game percentage completed, and total mileage for all my garaged cars. I know I completed everything that needed to be, but only 75% was completed. What else could I have missed?

We like racing against each other as well as all of the trash talking that goes with competition. The graphics are good and the race replay gives cool angles that you don't see while racing. Great fun.

This game has a great physics engine that makes you feel like you're actually driving the car. A great assortment of cars are yours to own through purchases and races. Or trade a car with your friend for his car. With many race modes, this game will keep you hooked for a long time!!!

this is one of the best simulation racing games there is. if not the best, this game will put u in the driver seat of many different popular brand name cars including the greatest import car, the nissan skyline which can reach past a 1000 hp. also has different makes from different countries, this game will surely keep you entertained...

My Son loves Any type of racing game and I been wanting to buy him this one for sometime but it was always too expensive in the stores. So when I saw one come on E-bay I jumped on it..

This is the first Gran Turismo title for the Playstation 2 and boy is it GREAT! With over 500 cars, much improved graphics, more car companies and better driving physics, it's the best racing game on PS2 (save GT4). They also somewhat fixed the sound problems, now when you turbo-charge your car, it actually kinda sounds like it! There are so many tacks it's hard to keep straight! Besides made up tracks, there are many real world tracks including Laguna Seca and infineon raceway. Gran Turismo 3 is still missing a few nameplates including Ferrari, Maserati, Bugatti, Lamborghini and Porsche.

Also in this edition is a rally aspect of the game. It's is a good rally rendering, but it's not great. There are a great many rally cars to buy and tune, which also rock the street tracks. But the focus isn't on rallying, it's on paint trading racing! By the way, still no damage to cars. Why can't the GT guys get on that for GT5!!!! Also a cool addition to GT3 is a few F1 cars you can win...secret...which when you get one, will KILL the competition.

The only thing about Gran Turismo is that you have to get licenses to move ahead in that game, which I HATE. Mostly because they are a little too hard not to matter! But after you get through them, smooth sailing till the end. The controls are a little more realistic this time around. If you are a first time player, it will probably take you upwards of an hour to really learn the game.

Even if you own Gran Turismo 4, you NEED this game. I actually think, in alot of ways, it's better than GT4!

I own all four american versions and understand that you need to get the licenses to attain the other tracks. These GT games aren't meant to be easy. If writing a review though, I'd rather see the reviews be about the seller or the quality of a used product not your inability to look for game reviews prior to buying. I've never bought from this user and therefor won't review him/her but have all four games and love them.

I love to race cars, And this one can do it for me. It was very reasonable price to. I have no complants about it but, They love the game.

This is a good game. The graphics are exceptionally good. The game was not completely compatible with my racing wheel, but I think that it was just my wheel and pedals and not the game!

This game is fantastic. You pick the car, the color, the track, the car features. After the race you go into a review mode where you see exactly what occurred.

I have been a fan of Gran Turismo since the first installment on the PSOne/PSX. This third game in the series of 4 simulators has amazing visual effects and fantastic game play. The variety of cars that you have to choose from is very extensive.

This game is loaded with tracks from the previous versions and has added a few more to make game play even more interesting.

This game out of the entire four that are out today, stands as the best, following GT2.

The ability to return to this game after being away from it after awhile is just fantastic, this game along with the others has a high return player rating.

I was in the market for another racing game. I really like this one. It is challenging but really fun at the same time. I'm a huge fan of the Gran Turismo franchise and this game lives up to its namesake.

Very good game, I like that graphics it was like i was watching it on T.V. The game play was also realistic like the speed steering and acceleration.

This has been a fantistic game. The physics of the game are very good. It makes many other racing games seem boring. The new Gran Turismo 4 is even better, but this game can be picked up at bargain price.

Be carefull buying this game the physic are real and just like real life you can't take a 90 degree turn at 100 mph, this game is relistict not arcady like most racing games. this is by far the best racing sim out there and if you aren't ready for a game like this don't buy it but if you are a hard core racing fan and really are into what it takes to really drive a car then this is the game for you. I don't want to see anyone complaining about this game is too hard or unrealistic, because the game is very relistic. I would love to see the people who complain about this game try to go rally thier ford tarus and see how well they do. This is definatly the hardcore gamers game.
