Muppet Family Christmas (DVD, 2001)

I never received this item. The seller did not accept paypal and I had to send an email to tshirtguy3000@aol.com to obtain his address. He sent me his address in Illinois and I sent him full payment by check. He cashed the check, then sent me a 'copy' of the DVD which was BLANK. I wrote an email to him telling him that it did not work. He wrote me back, asking me to send the DVD back and he would replace it. He has NOT replaced it and has even discontinued his email address. E-bay, I found out, had removed him as a seller soon after my transaction with him. There is no way that I can recover the full price that I paid for this DVD along with the shipping cost. I will NEVER purchase anything ever again through ebay. I do not trust this company.

I love this movie because it has all of Jim Hensons muppets. From Kermit and miss piggy, to Erie and Bert from Sesame Street. Even has Gobo and the cast of Fraggle Rock. This movie will not only make you laugh but will touch your heart. My children watched it every year on TV when they were younger. My 22 year old loved it so much he now wants me to buy him the tape. I would recommend this movie to any one at any age from 1 - 99. You will love it!!

This was a wonderful Muppet movie and it had many memorable moments in it! Kermit, Miss Piggy.. Big Bird.. all of 'em. There is a special cameo appearance, also, by Jim Henson himself! What a wonderful holiday treat! It's a keeper for sure!

This DVD of the Muppet Family Christmas is missing some of scenes from the original version that aired on television. Two notable omissions include: 1) The jokes that Fozzie and the Snowman tell at their first meeting outside the farmhouse have been cut. 2) They show only a small clip of the home movies of the Muppet Babies. Most of this part was cut. I was disappointed they did not include the all the footage from the original broadcast. I am sure they could have fit it all onto a DVD.

What a great movie. Just like I would watch during the holidays and sad that it wasn't on tv this year. Such a great addition my collection and will always bring happines when I watch it.

When my now 25 and 28 year olds were young, this was their favorite Christmas movie. This year my Army Sgt. was home and wanted to watch it but his sister had taken it to her home. I tried to purchase it local, not realizing it was no longer bring produced. I got on E Bay and found a very nice seller and bought it brand new. I was over the top, got it at a reasonably good price, considering it's now being scalped for far too much money. The seller was good about communicating and it was a good deal all the way around. My son leaves for Afghanistan in 3 weeks and it will stay here while he's gone. I hope he and his family will enjoy it in years to come.

My daughters, now young women, were raised with this movie and when my husband mentioned before Christmas how much he wished we still had it I decided to surprise him with it for Christmas. Not necessary what a 50 year old man would imagine opening Christmas morning ... but, when he did, there were peals of laughter. He loved it and so on Christmas Day we all sat and watched, laughed as we did in the past and relived fond memories.

I grew up watching this as a child, as a holiday tradition. Now I can share this experience wife my family. It has to be one of the greatest Christmas movies of all time.

This special was a favorite of my children growing up. I taped it on a vhs tape, but do to modern times i wanted the dvd. It was out of print and hard to find,thank god for Ebay.

A genuine christmas classic for children and adults of all ages. one of the funniest muppet movies I have ever seen.

My basement was flooded last year and I lost a lot of movies from when I was a kid that I had on VHS. The holidays were coming around and I was looking for "Muppet Family Christmas" on DVD and I found it here. I didn't have to wait very long to relive a child hood memory. Thanks!

I've been looking for this DVD for a long time. It is so much better than I remember! The DVD is so clear and there have been absolutely no problems!

Absolutely love this movie - it's a Christmas classic with all of the Muppet characters and the entire gang from Sesame Street. Can't be without it in December!

This movie was on my 26 year young daughter's Christmas wish list. She said this movie had many happy memories tied to it.

the next day i had ordered the dvd they had quickly reponded that the dvd was was in poor shape and they would prefer to refund my money right away. i'm very happy with how quick they responded with the problem and also how quick they refunded my money. so in the end i would purchase from them again.

This is one of the best shows produced by Jim Henson. If you were a child of the Jim Henson Era this is definitely one of the best. I highly recommend it to anyone. This has all the Jim Henson Muppets, Sesame St, and Fraggles. Very child friendly and again brings back memories of the brilliant Henson.

My family loves this classic Christmas special about the Muppets spending Christmas together at Fozzie's mother's farm. Our only disappointment is that some content is cut from the original. But still worth viewing!

My family's favorite Muppet movie! We like to watch it all year-long. After our video tape broke we just had to replace it with the DVD!

I bought this dvd for my mom.. i'm the middle child out of four and all of us loved this movie when we were younger and it's still very cute to me and it is so hard to find!
