I very much enjoyed the sence of entering the mindset of the 50's. Ethnic prejudices were more open and almost seemed to be institunalized. The Jewish boys just wanted a better party scene but,found a new sence of themselves via the spolied Goya kids. Played for some laughs the movie is entertaining and nostalgic. I'm a Adrien Brody fan that wanted a peek at his earlier work.His future as a lead actor(pianist)is foreshawdowed by this movie.

I watched this because of Ben Foster, and I understood it was a movie most people will never hear of let alone see. If you ever do though, chances are you'll enjoy the simple pleasures and unique factors this story employs. It's an unusual place and time set, but one worth learning about.
