Dosage by Collective Soul (CD, Feb-1999, Atlantic USA)

i was looking for this cd. i found one at a good price. i can shop without leaving home. i always look for the right seller, one without too many rules and regulations.

Most bands start to get in a rut somewhat after four major albums, but not these guys. This is just as good as anything they've ever done. "Heavy" and "Run" are the big hits from this album, and they are very cool, but just like their other albums, the hits aren't necessarily the best songs on the album. I find that on all their albums, most of the songs are very good and there aren't too many that stand above others. (which is perhaps the biggest reason I'm deducting a point from it) I like all the songs on this one equally and there is even a hidden bonus track a couple of minutes after the last track. This is another impressive album in the career of a very impressive band and belongs in the collection of any fan of hard rockin' music.

This is an excellent work. It contains hard tracks of rock, blended with smart classic melodies, it results in a group of pleasant songs for all people.

Different than the other Collective Soul albums. Very original and beautiful sounding. I really like it.
