Grey Owl (DVD, 2000, Closed Captioned; Subtitled in French and Spanish)

A good movie where you don't understand all of what is happening till the end. Liked the setting in Canada also.

I enjoyed this movie greatly, it is based on a true story , of a man with a message to mankind about our earth. John Pierce is brilliant , true to the character. the Mic's steal the show, (baby beavers) perhaps it is intended so, to have these creatures in our hearts to understand them and their part in nature.
May this movie find it's way into the hearts and minds of all those who watch it.

I had lost my DVD of Grey Owl. I therefore got this new one to replace it. I loved this story, as it explains that you don't have to be Native American by blood to have the true heart of a Native American person. I am Native American myself, but I have known many who were not and yet, they are more traditional than the full bloods. This Englishman did much to protect the beavers from becoming extinct. He had the heart of a true Native American Man.

Grey Owl, I liked it because it takes place in the wilderness, and I like Pierce Brosnan as an actor.

The movie is a very intense look at a man's life that is caught between two cultures while trying to remain hidden in the one he loves. I decided to buy the DVD based on the seller's rating and the reasonable price for which it was being offered. It's a great movie and another great buy from Ebay!

This is a great telling of a true story about a man trying hard to be true to himself. Archie 'Grey Owl' Graham was one of the first environmentalists of the 20th century. He championed the rights of the furbearers he once trapped for a living and may well have saved them from extirpation.
