Jack Nickolson plays a lonely obsessive-compulsive author who at the beginning of the story, believes he is happy. But when Helen Hunt enters his life he realizes that there is more to life and proceeds to grow as a person. Filled with excellant Jack one-liners.

We like the movie As Good As it Gets. We thought it was funny so we bought it. We would recommened this movie as it has no violence and teaches how people can change. Movie condition was good.

A movie you can watch again and again. Bought it to put in my permanent dvd collection. Jack Nicholson as always - great. I never cared for Helen Hunt that much but do like her in this movie. Kinnear - great acting!

I had not heard of this movie until I became the owner of a Brussels Griffon, at that point I was compelled to find it. I am so happy that I did, it is a very enjoyable movie, quite funny and pulls at the heart strings. I would suggest to anyone that has not seen it, definately put it on your list....you won't be disappointed.

This is an excellent award winning movie that won Oscars for its best man and best woman. My daughter needed it for a report she was writing on OCD for one of her OT classes. We bought it and won it in order to obtain it as fast as possible.

This is a great all around movie. To think Jack Nicholson originally turned down the role leads me to wonder WHO could have played is so well. Jack may be a pistol but he is one great actor.

I decided to buy this movie because I can not ever find it at blockbuster. It is always out. I want my daughter to see it. I think it teaches a good lesson about how the different, the unfortunate and the problematic can come together and persevere. How people can be there for one another. To be understood and love what seemed the unlovable. To see the impossible become possible. This movie get funnier and more lovable the more you watch it. It is a must see. I love a movie that gives you something you can take with you. This one does.

It ranks as one of my top ten movies of all times. I thought that each of the characters did an excellent job of portraying the person they represented and the feelings they had. This movie has humor, sadness, selflessness overcoming selfishness, hangups that are overcome through caring and a broad spectrum of interpersonal relationships.

I am trying to replace some of my VHS movies to DVD. I was pleased to find this DVD and the price was right. DVD is in good condition.

We had not seen this yet, and had heard a lot of really good things about it. I had always meant to rent it. This way I can own it and watch it as many times as I want for less than the price of renting. I'm not particularly a big Jack Nicholson fan, but this one I felt was really good.
