I needed another D'Angelo because mine was scratched and broken. I couldn't listen to the last 4 song without skipping and all. I am glad I made this purchase as this was a great transaction all around

) I love D'Angelo! This album is about the highs and lows of love, in a soft, sleek, yet ruthless style. Not too mushy in the lyrics, and has variety in describing Brown Sugar--even with only 10 songs. Great CD for TRUE soul fans. Tracks 5, 6, 8, 9 are my personal faves.

D Angelo's amazing lyrics will take your breath away and give you a feel for modern hip hop and jazz. Would highly recommend this CD for beginning jazz enthusiasts and those that like a little bit of jazz with a groove!
