Greatest Hits [Discontinued] by Moody Blues (The) (CD, Nov-1989, Threshold USA)

I bought this cd to fill in some songs that I was missing. I enjoyed "threshold of a dream" better as far as the arrangements go, but this cd has a lot of great tunes. It's perfect background music for Sunday lounging.

60 yrs old disabled and my fingers did leg work to fine cd,where else could you get the item that easy.

The music is just as I remembered it as a youngster and loved than and now.
Same style different songs ( some old songs)This is a nice CD.

The main reason I bought this CD is I wanted the really cool insert liner. I was surprised that it unfolded out into a nice piece of art work. The other plus are the original versions of "Isn't Life Strange" and "Question"- I don't think I've heard these versions before and sound great. Another nice CD to my collection.

this is another collection of moodies music that they call hits. i question this on several levels.first they have many more hits than this. second some of these recordings are not the originals that became hits. third because they have injected new or different versions it makes the whole concept subjective. fourth the order that the songs are listed are not in any pattern that would seem to make sense. so why did i buy this cd and give it a good rating? i found the packaging to be unique and unlike anything else the moodies have put out. and the selections offered were fresh,new or different takes on some of their more well known songs. and i found with repeated listenings the old hits were opening up in a new way,giving me another appreaction of the music that i might not have had before. this made the cd a worthwhile purchase. showcasing their music in new recordings of old standards. if you are new to the moodies i can not recomend this cd. if you are a fan this is another cd you must have.

I love the Moody Blues. I saw a concert on a tv station, and all their songs brought me back to my younger years. Love their music and this CD is great it is all their greatest hits. Totaly enjoying it.

There's nothing like the Moody Blues to send one back to a simpler time with less stress, and seemingly more freedom. This is a wonderfully relaxing CD that any MB fan should have in their collection.

I got this one to complete my "Best Of" collections. This one was just "ok" for me considering the material on the album. Your better off getting "This Is The Moody Blues" or "Gold" over this one. Some tracks are not the original versions as released as well. So make sure you are getting what you want on a "Best Of Collection". Search Judemac Forever on msn.
