Pokemon Silver Version (Game Boy Color, 2000)

Pokemon silver has it all! Night pokemon, morning pokemon, a phone to call other people for battles, team rocket, old and new pokemon, two games in one (0nce you beat the first reagion you move on to the harder second region), chances to get amazing pokemon (ie: lapras, rare dog pokemon, five different Eve's, lugia or Ho-Oh, dragonite, etc.)...you just can't get any better than this game. You can play for hours and hours. There are so many scenarios that keep you entertained non-stop. I have played many different pokemon games, and with ever pokemon game after Silver and Gold version, I was disappointed. Ruby and Saphire cowar. You get the best of both worlds, most of the old pokemon which are always going to be the best because they are the originals, and new pokemon.

If you are buying a game of Ebay make sure to check the internal memory battery!! Silver and Gold have rather old batteries (1999-2000) that mean by this year 2009, this battery is already 9 years old. So you may need to exchange the battery once you get the game(s) off Ebay...it's easy to replace by yourself as well. There is a step by step guide on the internet, or go to an electronic store. Trust me...it's worth it.

It has awesome graphics, and its much easier to catch pokemons here than on the blue version. I decided to buy this version because when I saw my friend playing it, I thought it was totally awesome, and anyway it was the cheapest one I found. It a really great game though, and I truly enjoy playing it.

This is an excellent continuation of the Pokemon series! With more pokemon, new abilities and types, new gym leaders, and new problems with Team Rocket, this is a must have for any lover of the Pokemon series! A great game to play even if you've had it for years!

this game is the best gameboy color game I ever played I love how you're able to travel so you can earn badges.I think it is an awesome game because you can catch your own pokemon.A great game indeed

this is a great gome the same as pokemon gold but you can capture lugia.It introudces the ability to be boy or girl you should really enjot this game

Arrived in timely manner. Good transaction. Unfortunately, my son ordered the wrong type of game. Lesson learned by him to check better. Was not able to play the game because it did not fit his system. Totally, my sons fault.

Its really fun trying to play a wordy game like this in a foreign language that you don't speak or understand in any way, lol. It helps, however, if you've played either gold, crystal, or silver version in English before.

The game itself is exactly the same with slight variations: The Pokemon that you see in the wild appear in different places. Not too diverse, but enough to mix it up a bit. The battle animations and the appearance (graphics/pics) of things in the Pokedex and battle are also different...different in the same way that Japanese Pokemon cards were different than English ones.

All around great game and highly recommended.

I have received item moderately quickly. But, unfortunately, the game does not save. I have to keep the game in my GameBoy for it to save properly, but even then, sometimes it isn't sucessful. It was said that the game is in good condition, but the status of the game is actually misleading or exaggerated to an extent.

I bought this game 2 weeks ago necause i ove Pokemon even though i am not a kid anymore. Though i was a bit dissapointed with the amount of time the seller took to send me it. I am a huge fan since i was a child i beat red.blue.yellow,gold,going to beat silver eventually.

When i got the pokemon silver and started to play when i savedand turned it of then turned it back on a little later the game that i saved was gone and i kept trying to save but the game wont save.

These. Games. Are. Wonderful. Enough said.

But, since I need to enter 100 characters, I should also say that if one enjoys Pokemon, I highly recommend Fire Emblem and Advance Wars. It's the same control system, and I've found both verrrry fun.

The Pokemon game series have been great, I personally like this game because of the graphics, and you can play it on the Gameboy(advanced-SP Gameboy (color).
Also the graphics are great and there are a whole bunch of new Pokemon In this, with the ability to go and catch Pokemon from either Kanto or Johto. You will also have the ability to meet Professor Oak and all the Radio announcers in Goldenrod City. You will also be able to meet(and hopefully beat) 16 gym leaders!!

very great adventure game, my son loved it and he said it had alot of pokemons and adventures. and its a fun game.

This game was state of the art and can compete with any pokemon game today. The only set back is the graphic quality and frankly we can blame the year it was made for those flaws. The game has a game clock that keeps acurate time in or out of the game boy system. As far as RPG's, role playing games, go this is an excellent game. The only flaw in the RPG style game is the lack variety when it comes to pokemon. 150 pokemon per game is just not enough. That is what makes trading a necessity for this game for truly addicted fans.

I loved how the seller had the actual item in the picture and not a stock photo. I got exactly what I expected when I expected it.

I obtained my copy of Pokémon silver through an actual video game trade with some random little kid at a rabbit show. Go figure.

I love this game because it has SO many additional features. It's even in color. Wooo... There's so many pokemon to catch... so many areas to explore... So many glitches to exploit!!!

But actually.. I think if they were to remake this game... and leave all the cool features in.. (maybe add the new pokemon and the new continent) it very well may be better than ruby/sapphire.. Ruby and Sapphire left out some cool things that I wish were there =(.. but thats a WHOLE nother review..

This game was my first pokemon game and i bought it for sentimental reasons i like and love the whole game in general and am pleased with the game itself the only issue is that it doesnt save properly which makes it lose its appeal but overall i like the item.

This product did not work correctly. Pokemon silver fails to save your progress. This flaw was not advertised. I do not suggest this product,as saving is essential to a game like this.

Good quality game. Game saved correctly. Good buy. Got back into a Pokemon mood and was really sad when my original Silver game did not save. After taking a break from school I needed something to do to pass the time so I decided to invest in another game. Glad I did.

Im still wonderin where the hellblau my game is. I paid for this a week ago and yet and still i received nothing. Im horribly displeased
