SOCOM II: U.S. Navy SEALs (PlayStation 2, 2003)

SOCOM II has many improvements from the original one. The graphics in the game are a minor improvement, but the most noticealbe improvement of all would be the AI. Your fellow comrades are on your sqaud are much smarter and can think for themselves. The voice recognition interface has also been improved. Your AI squad can now easily interpret what you say with ease than in the first game. SOCOM II does offer single player offline play, but an experienced player can be able to finish the game in less than a day. If you're going to plan on buying this game I recommend the online multiplayer. The maps on the multiplayer are fairly detailed in size and there are plenty nooks for your character to hide. This game is a must buy for people who like shooters and online combat play.

Well if you have played on single player you can see the glitching with your men.. They are very accurate when shooting but the team will definately get themseves killed if you let them. Be prepared for this. You are the leader! Dont forget it. Honestly the run and gun stratagy will be the best. You will find places that you need to stop for a few minutes and let the bad guys come to you. Stay low preferably prone and have able overwatch. I have been shot by the team plenty of times before so if your team is close by make sure your in back of them if theres bad guys areound or be prone if your in front of them. The save option sucks but it really does make it more realistic. Dont take your time. Get to your target and gun them down! I have spent 45 minutes on a level just to get killed in the end. Make use of bravo team by making them clear areas and putting them in positions where the enemy will or might be. This is a stratagy so put it to the test. I have beat the game in admiral diffculty using this stratagy. Good Luck specter!

Best online game ever on PS2 (I don't know about Socom 3 yet because its not yet come out)nice playing fun in regular game also

The graphics are nice, plenty of action, and the storyline is cool. The only problem is that the game is very difficult to finish. I am new at gaming and this one is not easy!!!!!

This game came out in November of 2003 and here I sit in 2008 still playing. The online play is so addicting that you'll consider calling in sick to play this. Oh, and SOCOM beats Halo.

This game was pretty fun and took me a few weeks to beat. It was easier then Socom 1 to beat, but I like it better than the first Socom.

This is a very good game if you are into army action. The single player mode is pretty good but the best thing about this game is the online mode. With over 5,000 people people playing online its very fun. This game is stratigical and teamwork oriented. A++

Awesome graphics. Best one yet for PS2. Easy playing, I could almost feel the wind blow and smell the fires burning. I would recommend this game to all my friends and family.

I though I won SOCOM 'Combined Assault' which I have already owned, but was pleasantly surprised when I realized it was the 'II' version...the ONLY one I have not played, and it has some great missions, combined from all the other SOCOM games...it's the 'Greatest Hits' version, and has the best missions from the other versions...some of which i don't remember at all! (maybe I haven't played ALL of them!!)
Anyway...GREAT GAME...highly recommended!

i'm love games with strategy ...esspecially with combat so Socom is the best game, it's like you fell inside the games , have a misssion and defeat enemy.

Game is flawless and has so much depth. I feel like I have evolved as a player!
The access to all the old levels is what made the game so much better. Being able to play the level I want, in the short amount of time I have maximizes the gameplay.

Price was very reasonable and they had the game that I was looking for. I liked the fact that it was shipped very promptly. I feel that I saved money over going to a store and buying the game in the smae condition. The item was exactly as advertised and am very pleased with the product.
